Mid Cheshire Bridleways covers around 70% of Cheshire's 300km of bridleways and byways. The Cheshire East and Cheshire West and Chester websites tell you where you can ride legally.
The best known routes are publicised in the Discover Cheshire website from which you can print off maps.
There are also leaflets which we are making available via this MCBA website. As a taster try the Aston Ring

The MCBA Survey
In 2001/2 MCBA conducted a survey of over 400 riders to find out about riding activities in Cheshire. Survey report.
Public Rights of Way
As the 'highway authorities' for Cheshire, the Cheshire East or Cheshire West and Chester councils are responsible for maintaining the public rights of way network and keeping each individual public footpath, bridleway and byway free from obstruction. To report a fault with a bridleway contact Public Rights of Way.
